New Product Launch - AmiShield Urine II Panel

AmiShield Urine II Panel is available in the market. This new reagent panel is developed to detect subtle amounts of protein in urine and to assist veterinarians in diagnosing whether a companion pet has a disorder of heart, liver or kidney.

According to clinical research, microalbuminuria is often considered as a valid warning signal of systemic disorders because it is common in various underlying diseases. For example, it is a sign of early kidney damage, and glomerular damage may be undetectable by other methods. In addition, it is elevated in senior cats with hyperthyroidism. Therefore, microalbuminuria urine tests could serve as an early screening test for subclinical disease.
